DISCIPLINARY CODE

Eastcote Hockey Club fully endorse the disciplinary code of English Hockey.

If any member should receive a red card, a Disciplinary Committee (as indicated below) shall be set up as soon as possible after the offence had taken place.  The purpose of the Committee is to hear the circumstances surrounding the offence and to report back to the Management Committee with any action to be taken.

The following persons are entitled to be present at the meeting of the Disciplinary Committee:-

1. Club Chairman (or Management Committee representative).

2. Club Secretary (or Management Committee representative).

3. Section Captain (or Hockey Committee representative).

4. Team Captain (or representative of the Team) in which the member was playing when the red card offence took place.

5. The member who committed the red card offence.

6. Another person to assist the member in the presentation of their case.

The procedure of the Disciplinary meeting will allow the member to present their case regarding the red card offence.  The Disciplinary Committee will then review all the information and recommend to the Management Committee the action to be taken.
